Our client, a highly respected and growing construction firm, is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on landmark projects across commercial and residential sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and client relationships from pre-construction through to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the commercial function on large-scale construction projects.

  • Prepare and submit accurate valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  • Monitor project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial efficiency.

  • Lead tendering and procurement processes, including subcontractor management.

  • Provide accurate reporting and cost advice to clients and stakeholders.

  • Mentor junior QS staff and support their development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 5+ years in role.

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).

  • Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to lead cost management on high-value projects.

  • Professional membership (RICS or similar) is desirable.
