Quantity Surveyor

Linear Recruitment are working with a leading Construction Contractor on the recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor to their successful team in the North East of England.

The role will involve reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a project with a value in excess of £50m. 

My client has an extremely strong forward order book with a number of large schemes due to commence imminently.

Main responsibilities would include:

- Ensuring company practice and procedure in order to promote commercial efficiencies and maximise profit returns.
- Preparation of final accounts including variations and disputes
- Managing production of accounts for internal purposes
- Production of financial forecasts
- Forming and managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders

Applicants should have a strong background working for a main contractor on high value New Build schemes and have construction relevant educational qualifications
