THE OPPORTUNITY
One of the UK’s most prestigious consultancies is seeking an ambitious Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Newcastle office. With a strong pipeline of infrastructure work across transport, energy and public realm sectors, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career with a firm that prioritises structured progression and technical excellence.
You’ll work on high-profile regional and national schemes, delivering commercial support across the full project lifecycle while gaining valuable experience with NEC contracts in a client-facing role.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Supporting cost planning and procurement across infrastructure projects

Assisting with the management of change control and valuations
-
Preparing cost reports and liaising with stakeholders
-
Supporting senior surveyors with contract administration and project delivery
-
Contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on quality delivery
ABOUT YOU
-
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
-
2–5 years’ experience within a consultancy or client-side setting
-
Familiar with NEC contracts and infrastructure project environments
-
Keen to work towards chartership (or already progressing with RICS)
-
Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
