About the Company
We're working with a leading infrastructure delivery partner appointed to support one of the UK's largest water companies as part of their AMP8 strategic investment cycle. With a secured framework worth up to £670 million over the next 15 years, this programme will upgrade and future-proof essential water infrastructure across the Northeast.

We are now recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the programme delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term, high-value infrastructure framework that will directly impact millions of customers and contribute to a more sustainable future.

About the Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide commercial oversight and leadership across a range of capital projects, ensuring accurate cost control, value optimisation, and risk management. You'll work closely with the client and project teams to ensure commercial delivery meets contractual, financial, and strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and manage accurate cost reports, valuations, and final accounts.
- Lead contract and subcontract administration, including NEC contract management.
- Liaise with the client and internal stakeholders to drive commercial performance and optimise project outcomes.
- Support procurement processes, including commercial comparisons, award recommendations, and documentation.
- Manage change control processes, claims, and commercial risk registers.
- Contribute to performance reviews, reporting cycles, and commercial governance procedures.
- Guide and mentor junior team members as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

Skills & Experience Required
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Working toward or holding full membership of RICS or CICES.
- Significant experience in commercial delivery within regulated infrastructure (water sector preferred).
- Proficient in managing NEC contracts and commercial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
