THE COMPANY
A global leader in project and cost management is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Newcastle infrastructure team. Renowned for delivering complex, high-value programmes across transport, utilities, and energy sectors, this consultancy offers a fantastic platform for ambitious professionals to take the next step in their career.

You’ll be part of a high-performing commercial team working closely with public and private sector clients on regional and national infrastructure projects—delivering value, managing risk, and driving performance across the entire project lifecycle.

THE ROLE

  • Take the commercial lead on infrastructure projects ranging from £10m–£250m+

  • Deliver full pre- and post-contract services under NEC and bespoke contracts

  • Develop strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact

  • Manage cost plans, procurement, contract administration and reporting

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior surveyors, supporting team development

  • Work collaboratively with PMs, engineers and stakeholders to achieve programme success

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • MRICS or working towards chartership with significant progress

  • Strong infrastructure experience (e.g., transport, utilities, civils)

  • Proven track record of running projects independently and managing stakeholders

  • In-depth knowledge of NEC forms of contract and cost management tools

  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
