Waste Collector

An opportunity has arisen for a waste collector.

Duties will include waste collection on trade waste vehicles.

The working week is 5 days Monday to Friday.

The role requires:

Experience of delivering excellent customer service
Commitment to the delivery of an excellent service as well as improving the performance of the service
Able to work with minimum of supervision and use own initiative
Flexible approach to start and finish times, weekend working, and able to work from any location within the city
Committed to promoting equalities and diversity policies of the council
Able to work in all weather conditions
This is a physically demanding job and applicants must be able to walk long distances, bend, stoop and lift
