Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, youll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.

What will you be doing?
Our Bid Coordinators arepart of a dedicated bid team, driving growth through winning bids, proposals, and presentations. You'll collaborate with expert bid professionals to ensure quality submissions that align with our sales and strategy targets. You'll coordinate bid plans whilst working closely with business development managers to develop winning themes and responses. Supporting bid managers with tender clarifications, post-tender presentations, and ensure final submissions meet client needs is key to the role. Please note that this role is hybrid working with 2 days per week in the Newcastle office.

What youll bring
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation and writing
  • An understanding of how coordinating the activities of multiple functions to provide input to specific bids / tenders meet high level expectations
  • Ability to work to tight and challenging timescales with clear deadlines
If you have the below qualifications or skills, great, but you dont need them to apply;
  • Bid / sales qualifications such as being certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner level
  • Background in tender / bid management and bid writing
  • Knowledge and previous experience within the utilities sector
