Location: Barras Bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 8QH

Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £18.26 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct fire risk assessments and audits.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

• Develop and implement fire safety policies.

• Provide fire safety training to staff.

• Coordinate fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.

• Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment.

• Collaborate with local fire services and authorities.

Person Specifications
Must Have

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in fire risk assessment or fire safety audit.

• Experience in conducting fire risk assessments.

• Strong understanding of fire safety regulations.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with local councils or in a similar role.

• Knowledge of NEPO compliance requirements.

• Additional fire safety certifications.
