Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing care and support plans to provide a tailored approach towards our young people
- Assist with promoting independence, positive relationships and educational needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Address challenging behaviour appropriately with patience and effective strategies
- Promote the welfare of the child whilst safeguarding them from harm and re-assuring the young person always has a secure environment
- Transport the young person to appointments, family contact, education and activities
- Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for our young people
What we're looking for:
- 6-12 Months paid experience working with children and young people between the ages of 0-17 within the UK
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and young people (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- A proactive approach with strong communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
- A full UK Driver's licence is preferred
- An Enhanced DBS (child and adults) required, on the update service is preferred
- Flexibility to work 12hrs days, nights and weekends
