  • Supporting and guiding other social workers in understanding and effectively applying complex assessment frameworks.

  • Contributing to vital safeguarding decisions through your expert analysis and recommendations.

  • Providing clear and compelling evidence in court when required.

  • Actively promoting and maintaining consistent, high-quality practice across the entire team.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this specialist role, you'll need:

  • To be a Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.

  • Demonstrable training in CUBAS and/or ParentAssess assessments.

  • Proven, hands-on experience in successfully completing both CUBAS and ParentAssess assessments.

  • A strong, comprehensive understanding of safeguarding principles and care proceedings.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for report writing and court testimony.

  • The ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and effectively support other social workers in their assessment practice.
