The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Yard Operatives to join their busy operations team at their Newcastle site. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for the motor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and park a variety of manual and automatic vehicles around the yard.
- Barcode and tag keys for all new vehicle arrivals.
- Log and remove any valuables left in vehicles.
- Jump-start vehicles when required (training provided).
- Ensure vehicles are stored and presented in line with site standards and daily schedules.
- Refer any issues or complaints to the Yard Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Support other yard tasks to meet operational deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Passion for the motor industry and a proactive attitude.
