Key Responsibilities

  • Install CPVC fire sprinkler pipework to approved drawings and specifications.

  • Carry out residential, commercial, and retrofit sprinkler installations.

  • Measure, cut, and assemble CPVC pipe and fittings using approved tools and solvent cement.

  • Install heads, drops, brackets, valves, alarms, and associated fittings.

  • Pressure-test completed pipework and record test results.

  • Work alongside site managers, fire engineers, and contractors to meet project deadlines.

  • Ensure installations comply with BS 9251 / NFPA standards (or relevant local standards).

  • Maintain accurate job notes, material records, and test documentation.

  • Work safely onsite, following all fire protection and CPVC handling guidelines.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.



Requirements

  • Proven experience installing CPVC fire sprinkler systems - essential.

  • Strong understanding of fire sprinkler standards and CPVC installation methods.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

  • CSCS card required (or willingness to obtain).

  • Additional fire-protection qualifications (BS 9251, LPCB, etc.) desirable.

  • Full driving licence preferred.

  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or within a team.
