This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' college in the North East on a temporary to permanent basis.
Previous teaching experience is ideal but not a requirement, if you are an experienced Electrician with a desire to shape the lives of 16-19 learners and apprentices in their educational journey and early careers - this could be the role for you!
If you have previously trained and/or mentored apprentices this could be a transferrable skill to help you transition into a college Lecturer where you can make a positive impact on learners and be well rewarded for your work!
What You Get
Whilst on a temporary basis you can earn between £730 per week - £950 per week AFTER TAX!
A consultant on hand to help and advise you throughout the process.
When/If tranisitoning to permanent you can expect a salary of up to £46k as well as up to 52 days annual leave and 28.6% employer contributions to your pension!
What You Need
A Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical Installation.
An Enhanced DBS either on the update service or dated in the last 3 months, or willingness to obtain.
A desire to pursue a teaching/lecturing career.
A teaching qualification or, willingness to obtain/work towards one.
