Company A, a leading firm in Tyne and Wear, is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for an initial 2-month temporary contract.
The role involves MIG welding, reading engineering drawings, and fabricating structural steel components from 6-15mm mild steel.
Candidates should have experience in medium fabrication of 3-6mm mild steel, as well as working with aluminium and stainless steel.
Essential requirements include being a time-served Fabricator/Welder with MIG welding skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The position offers regular overtime opportunities and favorable working conditions, with a competitive salary.

The Job you’ll do

MIG Welding.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Mainly Fabricating Structural Steel components in 6-15mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding.
Medium Fabrication in 3-6mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding.
Sheet metal - Aluminium & Stainless Steel.

About You

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Candidate must be able to Read Engineering drawings, working on own or as part of a team if required.
Essential requirements: Time served Fabricator / Welder worker with Mig Welding.
Working with medium and light materials carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminium.
