- AMJ Recruitment is seeking an Experienced CNC Punch Operator for a well-established manufacturing business in Newcastle Under Lyme.
- The role requires ideally 3 years of CNC punch and/or fold operating experience and 1 year of metal door manufacturing experience.
- The position offers day shifts from Monday to Thursday, 07:00am to 16:00pm, and Friday from 07:00am to 13:00pm.
- Pay ranges from £12.60 to £13.74 per hour, depending on experience, with potential increases upon becoming permanent.

This client is looking for an Experienced CNC Punch Operator / Fold Operator to GROW with them, and be part of their long term plans.
Shifts: Day Shifts (Mon to Thur - 07:00am-16:00pm / Friday 07:00am until 13:00pm)
Pay: £12.60 - £13.74 per hour Dependent on Experience (Rising when Permanent)
Term - Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
Start Date: ASAP (After successful interview with the Client)
Purpose of the Role:
Configure and operate Punch press to cut, shape and form metal used in production of doors via performing
cutting, blending and punching and forming actions, based upon CAD designs.
Duties Include:
Make correct set-ups for Punch machine operations.
Operating a Panel Bender/loading programs/checking corrections.
Maintain tooling.
Select punch programmes..
Position and remove parts from the die.
Perform dimensional inspections.
Perform routine Operator maintenance.
Achieve / exceed set production targets / KPIs.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Management
Experience Required:
Ideally 3 years of CNC Punch and/or fold operating experience.
Ideally 1 year of metal door manufacturing experience.
Previous training and awareness in safety, electrostatic discharge awareness and awareness of
foreign object damage.
