Asset Administrator (Homes directorate)

Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)

Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As part of our assets team, you’ll help make this a reality for thousands of people living in our communities.

Working with our Asset Investment Manager you’ll provide admin support to help us manage information on the condition of our homes and invest in improving our homes for our tenants.

You’ll keep our systems organised and accurate with the data our surveyors are collecting. You’ll help produce reports for leadership and finance teams to share a clear picture of our homes and budgets. You’ll also help us provide a great customer experience by keeping tenants up to date about work in their home.

What you’ll bring to our team

Skilled and experience in a variety of IT systems, you’ll champion and contribute to changes in our system and processes as we improve our approach to managing information about our homes. You’ll build strong relationships with our tenants, with colleagues and external contractors, working together to find solutions.

What we are looking for

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office, skilled in the use of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing tools,

Experience working in a customer-focussed environment, with a willingness to learn and develop their knowledge of the housing sector.

Experience of working in a busy office environment and in the processes and practices associated with office administration.

Communicates in a calm and effective manner and ensures that stakeholders feel valued and heard.

Qualifications

  • GCSE in English and Maths
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft, word, excel and teams
  • Experience in the use of an asset management system (active H, MIS) would be desirable
  • Administrative or related qualification would be desirable
