Horizon teachers are seeking a talented teacher to join a two-form entry community primary school. The school provides education for children from 2 to 11 years and offers a wide range of services and activities. This role will be a one-day a week teaching role to support PPA and cover across all subject areas.

Class Teacher Specification:
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Good knowledge of the curriculum requirements within the 3-11 range
  • Proven ability as a strong classroom practitioner, with skills in relation to effective planning and assessment strategies to support learning for every pupil
  • Ability to motivate learners and manage the behaviour of pupils effectively, particularly those with complex needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community in the development of the school
