GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Newham. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across the science curriculum. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities of Science Teacher
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons tailored to a range of learning needs.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Organise and participate in science-related extracurricular activities and events.
- Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a passion for discovery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student development.
Essential Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to provide a 10-year career history with references covering the last two years.
