Our client is a world class manufacturing business with a number of facilities in the area. This role would suit someone who has worked in similar roles and is famiilair with the using cleaning /poloshing machinery and sweeping in the yard. Candidates must have safety footwear.Â
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To ensure that the production areas, offices, canteens, toilets and yard are cleaned to a high standard.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintain the cleanliness of painted floor areas using the scrubber dryer. Vacuuming entrance mats and floors, keeping the vinyl floors clean at all times and using the buffing machines when required.
•Empty waste bins.
•Maintain kitchen cleanliness including worktops, sinks, wall tiles and floors.
•Cleaning/dusting of windows, ledges and blinds surfaces.
•Cleaning/dusting of office surfaces.
•Pick up litter from yard, including sweeping and using sweeping machines.
•Clean all toilet sanitary ware and refilling dispensers.
•Maintain tea, coffee and milk as required for staff.
•Maintain all stock within COSSH regulations.
Education/Qualifications
Educated Level 2 English
Knowledge/Experience
Trained in the correct use of cleaning Materials/Chemicals
Previous Experience of using cleaning machinery.
Training in COSHH Regulations

.Own Transport for allow travel between sites (around Newhaven)
