We are advertising this role on behalf of our client. They are seeking a Compounder to join their Production Department. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for producing finished goods at the correct standards by following a formula. This role reports directly to the Factory Manager.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Undertake formulation and compounding duties.
- Demonstrate flexibility in both the role and duties undertaken.
- Carry out ‘machine minding’ activities as instructed or trained.
- Identify Quality issues and address them.
- Operate forklift to store goods (once training has been completed).
- Keep the Factory organised and safe, in line with company standards.
- Clean up spillages in a safe and timely fashion.
- Operate Filling Line when required.

- Motivated with the ability to use initiative and make decisions within agreed limits.
- Excellent team working skills, contributing positively to a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen, communicate proactively, and ask probing questions.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adapts to change.
- Good understanding of verbal and written English and basic mathematics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage own time effectively, and meet deadlines.
