Management Accountant – Bookkeeping & VAT

Full-time | Office-based

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join a top 40 firm of chartered accountants.

Whether you’re experienced in practice, moving from industry, or early in your accountancy career - this is a great opportunity to get involved in outsourced client services, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts. You’ll also support accounts preparation and play a key role in developing cloud accounting services using Xero, QBO, and Sage.

What you’ll do:

Maintain bookkeeping records and prepare VAT returns
Prepare periodic management accounts
Review and update client records
Answer queries and support clients in person and remotely
Onboard clients to cloud platforms and deliver training
Suggest system improvements and support migrations

What we’re looking for:

At least 2 years’ experience using Xero
AAT qualified or working towards it (study support available)
Great communicator and team player
Organised, adaptable, and client-focused
