An established and respected building services consultancy is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This is a client-focused business delivering tailored engineering solutions across a range of projects.

In this role you will lead the electrical design process for a variety of projects from concept through to completion. Projects are varied, predominantly commercial buildings including healthcare and defence. The role also involves supporting the development of junior team members and working closely with clients to deliver high quality electrical engineering solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Electrical Design Engineer with a background in building services design. You will be confident working across all stages of a project from concept to completion. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and experience in Revit would be desirable. You will be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage your own workload whilst supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical engineering systems in line with relevant codes and regulations
- Client focused role
- Produce 2D/3D drawings and technical specifications
- Conduct internal design reviews
- Mentor junior Engineers
- Attend client and site visits where needed
About you:
- HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in electrical building services design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Dialux or Relux
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage your own workload independently
