Based just outside of Newmarket, this expanding business is seeking motivated individuals to join their paint shop team. Whether you're an experienced sprayer/blaster or someone keen to learn, this role offers full training, a competitive starting wage, and overtime opportunities.
Due to the rural location of the site, candidates must have access to their own vehicle.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting from 12.21+ p/hour for entry-level roles (training provided)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Opportunities for long-term development and progression
Duties Include:
- Shot blasting components and preparing items for painting
- Hanging, sanding, and masking items ready for finishing
- Mixing paints, colour matching and spraying (training provided if required)
- Handling and moving materials within the paint shop (forklift licence desirable)
- Maintaining spray and blasting equipment, including filter changes
- Supporting the team to ensure production schedules are met
