Description

The successful HSE Advisor will:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE policies and procedures.
  • Supply reports to the senior leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain risk assessments and method statements for ongoing projects.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement safety measures effectively.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets legal and organisational requirements.
  • Stay informed about changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Be site based in Newmarket the majority of the time.

Profile

A successful HSE Advisor should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in health, safety, or environmental management.
  • Experience in the construction sector within the property industry.
  • Previous experience of high-value, complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all levels.
