Description
The successful HSE Advisor will:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE policies and procedures.
- Supply reports to the senior leadership team.
- Develop and maintain risk assessments and method statements for ongoing projects.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement safety measures effectively.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets legal and organisational requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Be site based in Newmarket the majority of the time.
Profile
A successful HSE Advisor should have:
- Relevant qualifications in health, safety, or environmental management.
- Experience in the construction sector within the property industry.
- Previous experience of high-value, complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all levels.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
