Bank Day and Night Care Assistant

Location: Tyringham, Newport Pagnell, MK16 9ES

Salary: £13 per hour

Hours: Zero-hour contract. They need someone who can work both day and night shifts at potentially short notice.

Our client is a family run care home set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside. They support 35 elderly residents with varying needs, and they aim to provide a 'home from home' environment where residents are supported and cared for by a dedicated and consistent team.

The Role

  • Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care whilst respecting dignity and privacy
  • Maintaining appropriate records in relation to care provided
  • Encouraging independence and working to a high standard of care practice
  • Working with a person centred approach including involving each resident

Skills and Qualifications

  • Full UK driving License
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Training is given and opportunity's available for staff to complete diplomas in health and social care ranging from level 2 to level 5.
