Flux Consulting have partnered with a leading consultancy who are seeking a talented and experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join theirteam and play a pivotal role in the development and success of thebusiness.
The Role:
This isa fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to manage and lead a small team within theconsultancy. Youwill take day-to-day ownership of 2-3 key client accounts, with the prospect of fully managing these relationships in the long term. You will work closely with a Director, who is also the lead Cost Manager, providing direct reports and support as you progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a small team, overseeing project delivery and ensuring quality standards.
- Take day-to-day ownership of 2-3 key client accounts, with a view to fully managing these relationships in the future.
- Work closely with the Director and lead Cost Manager, contributing to the strategic development of the business.
- Provide cost management services, including cost planning, value engineering, and risk management.
- Support the expansion into new sectors, particularly Data Centres, where experience would be an advantage.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to the development of existing client accounts.
About You:
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) with significant experience in cost management.
- Proven experience in managing client accounts and delivering high-quality services.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a small team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in the Data Centre sector is desirable but not essential.
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to develop within the business and take on additional responsibilities.
