Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a German speaking Management Accountant for a growing organisation based in Newport.

The German speaking Management Accountant will be responsible for reporting for one of the divisions:

  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and month end general ledger and trial balance for review.
  • Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations'
  • Maintenance of the general ledger, including posting of journals, maintenance of prepayments, accruals and deferred income schedules. Resolution of any issues to ensure records remain accurate
  • Manage Sales, WIP, Invoicing, Credit Control and Revenue recognition and maintain completeness and integrity of contract manager data. Prepare customer invoices in line with contracted terms.
  • Preparation of Management Information and Analysis as required. Assist with budget queries and comparison of actual costs with budget
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation
  • Assist on VAT and Tax returns
  • Deal with and respond to customer and vendor queries in a prompt and timely manner
  • Assist with the annual audit, local audit and statutory accounts
  • Additional duties as assigned from time to time by management

On offer:

Salary of from £50,000 to £60,000 plus bonus, pension and flexible benefits. Hybrid working - three days in the office minimum.
