Hunter Selection are partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Newport area looking to recruit a quality engineer. In a newly created role for the business, this is a great opportunity to make the role your own and play a vital role in maintaining product quality. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Verify product specification and ensure accurate communication to design and engineering teams.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues raised both internally and externally
  • Support internal and external audits, liaising with certification bodies as required and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Attend production and operations meetings to report on quality issues.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports and improvement plans.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing background, preferably with an engineered product.
  • 2-3 years experience in quality engineering role.
  • ISO9001 experience.
