We are seeking a Head of Workplace to lead the Workplace Services Team for an initial 18-month fixed term contract. The role involves ensuring the delivery of successful operations across our evolving estate. This pivotal role involves engaging with senior stakeholders and building users, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining a safe and sustainable environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, delivering customer-focused accommodation and related services.

Lead on stakeholder and customer communications, ensuring regular engagement.

Manage complex stakeholder issues through effective discussions and negotiations.

Provide assurance on a safe estate, compliance with statutory obligations, and safe systems of work.

Collaborate with senior colleagues to benchmark performance and manage a range of contracts within the estate.

Day-to-Day Activities:

Strategically manage the estate, including both freehold and leasehold properties.

Lead and nurture high-performing teams across multiple disciplines including Estates, Facilities, Sustainability, and more.

Establish and lead project delivery using project and programme management principles.

Manage budgets and contracts effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven track record in a strategic role delivering Estate Services.

Strong customer relationship management skills with experience dealing with diverse and challenging stakeholders.

Experience in managing and developing a multi-disciplinary team.

Recognised Property-related qualification (e.g., RICS, IWFM, CIOB) or equivalent experience.

Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
