Location: Newport, Wales
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract
Shift Pattern: Nights / Double Days
Hourly Rate: 33 per hour (Umbrella)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Setter with expertise in composite aerospace materials to join our client's team in Newport, Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the aerospace industry, with the potential for ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate machinery for the production of composite aerospace materials.

  • Ensure machines are operating efficiently and to the highest standards.

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting to prevent downtime.

  • Work with technical drawings and specifications to ensure the correct setup.

  • Ensure all production processes meet quality and safety standards.


Essential Skills & Experience:


  • Proven experience in machine setting, particularly within the aerospace sector.

  • Strong understanding of composite materials and the manufacturing processes involved.

  • Based in the UK with the right to work - we are unable to offer sponsorship.

  • Able to set up machinery independently and troubleshoot when necessary.

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.


Contract Duration: 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
