MK-Search are working with a well respected main contractor with a strong international presence delivering flagship schemes across sectors who are looking for a health & safety manager to join their team on a data centre in South Wales.

Reporting to a SHEQ lead you'll workclosely with project teams and contractors to ensure compliance and embed a strong safety culture.

Duties Include:

  • Overseeing and supporting investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • representing the business during external audits and accreditation processes, ensuring readiness and compliance
  • contributing to award submissions and recognition of safety excellence across projects
  • identifying and monitoring trends and KPIs
  • working collaboratively with other members of the management team.

You'll also have:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
  • a comprehensive understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
  • proven experience managing health and safety across major construction or infrastructure projects, ideally including high-hazard environments
  • previous experience of working and leading within a team environment
  • first-hand knowledge of ISO45001 management systems
  • strong understanding of CDM regulations and construction site safety protocols
  • demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from site operatives to senior leadership
  • excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to develop trends and recommend improvement strategies
  • self-motivation, be organised and capable of managing multiple priorities across a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
