Conveyancing Auditor - Remote/Hybrid - Non-Fee Earning Role

I'm currently working with a modern, progressive conveyancing firm that’s looking to expand its Compliance and Support function with the addition of a Conveyancing Auditor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who’s looking to step away from fee-earning into a quality-focused, supportive role within a growing team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Reviewing sale and purchase files to ensure compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures

  • Identifying any risks or areas of concern, and working with the team to implement improvements

  • Providing feedback and guidance to conveyancers to promote best practices and consistent quality across the business

  • Supporting with complex transactions and assisting with post-completion work when required - including title checks, management packs, replies to enquiries, and more

What They’re Looking For:

  • A qualified conveyancer (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of hands-on conveyancing experience

  • Ideally, some previous experience in auditing or compliance, though strong technical knowledge is key

  • Familiarity with title checking, leaseholds, new builds, and other specialist areas of property law

  • Someone detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable giving constructive feedback

  • Confident using case management systems and general IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Why This Role?

  • Step away from fee-earning into a rewarding quality assurance role

  • Flexible working options - hybrid if local to Newport, fully remote if not

  • Generous benefits including bonus schemes, enhanced leave, birthday leave, additional annual leave for 100% attendance, and more

  • Wellbeing-focused culture with an Employee Assistance Programme, discounted gym memberships, regular charity events, and team socials

  • Ongoing training and professional development support
