Our client a leader in advanced electronics manufacturing, is looking for a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join their engineering team at their Newport site.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and support production test equipment for functional testing.

Lead test activities for new product introductions (NPI) ensuring smooth handovers from R&D to production.

Write and update test documentation, instructions, and processes.

Diagnose and resolve electronic test issues (PCBs, HLA).

Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in test procedures and tools.

Provide training and guidance to Test Technicians.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:

HNC (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Strong understanding of electronics and experience with PCB/HLA testing.

Comfortable using test instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters).

Knowledge of test automation software - LabVIEW / TestStand experience preferred.

Clear communicator and team player with strong documentation skills.
