Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 per annum

Overview

A leading global manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to join its growing team. This newly created role reflects the organisation's continued investment in secure infrastructure and innovation across cloud and on-premises environments.

You'll be part of a global, multi-disciplinary team, working on embedding security into infrastructure architecture across a broad range of technologies and projects. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud platforms and the opportunity to influence strategic security decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with business needs.
• Conduct risk assessments focusing on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of proposed solutions.
• Provide expert recommendations on mitigating controls and risk prioritisation.
• Present architectural decisions and security strategies to stakeholders including engineering, IT, and third-party vendors.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Security Architect.
• Proven track record in designing secure infrastructure solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with security and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and access control.
• Ability to map control frameworks to security practices and conduct gap analyses.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate security requirements across technical and non-technical audiences.
