We are seeking a Technical Assistant to provide essential support within our clients IT department. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities including research, analysis, benchmarking, and managing key business information databases. The ideal candidate will be a central point of contact for enquiries and will coordinate various strategic IT projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Undertake extensive research and analysis to support various business strategy projects and workstreams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for daily enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and report on the progress of ongoing actions for the IT and Cyber functions.
  • Handle follow-up questions and coordinate responses on behalf of IT and Cyber after business strategy submissions.
  • Manage and report on all IT Risk and Audit actions.
  • Document and aggregate inputs from the business and stakeholders.
  • Administer standard documentation for the strategy team.
  • Attend and support strategy meetings at all levels, from team to executive.
  • Coordinate agendas and action registers for the DTG.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Business knowledge and experience are desirable.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize and present findings clearly.
  • Analytical, organised, and numerate with effective communication skills.
  • A high standard of IT skills is essential, including proficiency in Microsoft applications; knowledge of MS Access is desirable.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Ambitious and proactive, with a keen desire to learn about the corporate IT landscape.
