Description
The Interim Senior management Accountant/Finance Manager is a key role in the success and development of the finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for;
- Management and development of the Accounts Receivable department. You will be tasked to implement and or improve controls, processes and systems to enable strong cashflow in the business.
- Develop a robust suite of Management Accounts with detailed reports showing all variances to budgets and actuals v forecasts.
- Assist the FC with the production of the Statutory Accounts
- All balance sheet reconciliations
- Vat and other statutory returns
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Develop a suite of reports for both internal use and for external customers
- Work with the FC and the Bids and tenders team to to develop more precise bids and tenders information
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial and business goals
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets
- Conduct risk management activities
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:
- A Professional Finance Qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
- Excellent Management Accounting skills including budgeting, forecasting and developing reports
- Good financial modelling skills
- Proficiency in financial management software
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
