Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the horticultural standards of Belle Vue and Beechwood Parks.
- Participate in the planning and execution of seasonal planting and landscaping projects.
- Ensure the parks are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors.
- Collaborate with team members to implement park improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
- Demonstrated broad knowledge of horticulture and strong plant knowledge skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance and advice to others.
- Willingness to contribute to and adapt to change.
- Commitment to personal development and willingness to undertake mandatory training.
- Understanding of and commitment to promoting the Strategic Equality Plan of Newport Town Council.
