The School:

Revised Recruitment Group are working with a busy but friendly Catholic school in Newport. The school supports pupils aged 3-11, including children with ALN. The school pride themselves on inspiring children to believe in themselves in order to achieve, while highlighting the importance on wellbeing.

The Role:

The role is to work as a Teaching Assistant within the school, supporting an adapted curriculum across key stages in a 3-11 provision. You will be supporting the Teacher in a classroom environment.

Ideally the candidate would be looking to start ASAP with a view to this becoming a long-term placement in September.

What you will need to succeed

  • Have a passion for the education of children and working with pupils with learning difficulties.
  • Have the ability to form effective working relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • You will act as a positive role model for pupils.

Previous experience in schools is not essential as training will be provided. If you have had previous experience with supporting children or have an interest in doing so- please get in touch.
