The successful Maintenance and Facilities Manager will be carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, cladding and general building works, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard and compliant with health and safety regulations.
You will be working both independently and within a small team, liaising with contractors and internal teams and operating plant equipment such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts as needed. The Maintenance and Facilities Manager role is field-based, covering sites across the UK, with a home base in Newport or within a 45-minute drive.
Key requirements for the successful Maintenance and Facilities Manager include:
-Strong practical skills across electrical, plumbing, cladding and general building maintenance
-Experience operating access equipment with a valid IPAF licence (training can be provided)
-Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across UK sites
-Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently
-Familiarity with CDM regulations and maintaining detailed maintenance logs
The following qualifications are desirable:
-SMSTS or equivalent site management certification
-NEBOSH or IOSH health & safety qualifications
-Own set of tools (although tools can be provided)

This is a full-time, permanent role with rota-based weekday hours (08:00-17:30, Monday to Friday).
