Pertemps Recruitment is seeking a Production Technician to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This role involves assembling, testing, and calibrating electronic and mechanical components to high-quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement across the production team. The role is initially for 6 months with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Program and calibrate PCBs and subassemblies.
- Inspect finished products against defined criteria.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults during manufacture.
- Complete production and quality documentation.
- Support process improvements and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in production or electronic assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- IPC-610, IPC-620, JSTD-001 certifications desirable but not essential.
