We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our client's team on a temporary basis on a 6mth+ basis. The role requires someone who is committed to providing accurate and timely payroll services as part of our Accounting & Finance team & has previous experience in Payroll.

Description

  • Assist in the processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle payroll related queries and provide excellent customer service to employees.
  • Work collaboratively with the Accounting & Finance team, contributing to the overall financial efficiency of the organisation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Assist in the preparation of relevant payroll reports for management.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring the organisation remains compliant.
  • Support other payroll projects as required.
  • Contribute to the development of payroll policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Payroll Assistant should have:

  • A solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel primarily.
  • Experience in IRIS Cascade is desired but by no means essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Accounting & Finance team.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service to employees.
  • Good knowledge of the financial services industry.
