We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our client's team on a temporary basis on a 6mth+ basis. The role requires someone who is committed to providing accurate and timely payroll services as part of our Accounting & Finance team & has previous experience in Payroll.

Description
- Assist in the processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle payroll related queries and provide excellent customer service to employees.
- Work collaboratively with the Accounting & Finance team, contributing to the overall financial efficiency of the organisation.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
- Assist in the preparation of relevant payroll reports for management.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring the organisation remains compliant.
- Support other payroll projects as required.
- Contribute to the development of payroll policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
- A solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel primarily.
- Experience in IRIS Cascade is desired but by no means essential.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Good teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Accounting & Finance team.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service to employees.
- Good knowledge of the financial services industry.
Job Offer
- An estimated hourly rate of £14.10 - £20.51 + holiday pay, dependent on experience.
