Our client is a specialist contractor delivering high-voltage substation works and renewable energy projects across the UK. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team and play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of their projects.



The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and contractual support across a portfolio of renewable and substation projects. Working closely with project teams, you'll ensure accurate cost management, reporting, and contract compliance - with the flexibility of working from home and only limited travel requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of energy and civils projects

  • Preparation and management of budgets, valuations, and cost reports

  • Contract administration in line with NEC contracts

  • Identifying risks and opportunities to maximise project value

  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project managers



About You

  • Degree-qualified or experienced Quantity Surveyor

  • Knowledge of NEC contracts is essential

  • Background in civils, utilities, or energy projects desirable

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote role
