We're looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to take on a key leadership role, with a competitive salary ranging from 26,778 to 27,804.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Lead shifts and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the unit in the absence of a manager.

  • Provide expertise and guidance to your colleagues while supporting the physical and emotional well-being of young people.

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children and young people.

  • Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other agencies to promote partnerships and positive outcomes.

  • Contribute to the assessment of individual needs and the development of care plans.

  • Support and mentor staff, helping to enhance team performance.

What You'll Need:

  • At least one year of experience working with young people in a residential childcare setting.

  • A QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required. While a specialisation in Children and Young People is preferred, we will also consider candidates with a qualification focused on adults, provided they are willing to complete the extra units

  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families.

  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
