Our client a leader in advanced electronics manufacturing, is looking for a skilled Quality and Compliance Engineer to join their engineering team at their Newport site.

In this varied role, you’ll make sure that their range of class leading electronic products are globally compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain export compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with UK and other relevant third country regulations and industry best practices.

Assess the export compliance maturity of each business site and identify areas for improvement.

Stay informed about changes in export regulations, particularly in MOD requirements and ISO standards, by attending industry events.

Ensure each site is well-prepared to meet trade and export compliance standards.

Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and support to site leadership teams to ensure export compliance objectives are met.

Assist in risk management by identifying and prioritizing key export compliance areas for development.

Support the supply chain management team in understanding and engaging on export compliance topics.

Support discussions and audits with end customers relating to export control.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in building and implementing export control processes in a technical environment.

Extensive experience in export compliance, ideally within electronic manufacturing or defence sectors.

Knowledge of MOD requirements and ISO standards is advantageous.

Strong familiarity with UK-specific export regulations.
