General Operative / FLT Operator - Newquay
Location: Newquay
Duration: Approx. 3 months
Hours: 9-hour shifts (paid for 10) - Monday to Friday
Rate: 20.00 per hour
LRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence to join a high-profile industrial project based in Newquay. This position offers a great opportunity for experienced operatives to play an important role in a large-scale site operation, working within a professional and safety-focused environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load and transport heavy machinery and materials.
Assist in the rip-out, disassembly, and removal of industrial equipment, tools, and machinery.
Support site teams in maintaining high safety and quality standards across all areas of work.
Ensure the work area remains tidy, organised, and compliant with site regulations.
Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card.
DBS Check (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to pass a security clearance check.
Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
Two recent project-specific references.
