I am recruiting for a Permanent Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager for anadvanced composite manufacturingcompany based outside Newquay / Cornwall.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for writing technical quality documentation e.g. PPAP, PFMA in accordance with the Quality Management System
  • Performing internal process audits, compliance audits & external customer audits
  • Ensuring that processes and specifications are adhered to during all aspects of production, operating within an ISO9001/AS9100 quality environment, upholding company standards;
  • Collating and presenting KPI quality data identifying quality trends, risks & non conformances
  • Acting as the first line of defence in relation to contain problems, using a structured approach to identify root cause, recommend countermeasure and corrective actions.
  • Identify, quantify & propose product & process improvements
  • Prepare technical reports for both internal & external communication

Profile:

  • A strong team player, with proven experience of quality management
  • A self- motivated person, largely responsible for managing their own daily tasks and timekeeping.
  • A strong communicator with rapport skills who enjoys summarising data to present it in a logical manner

Experience:

  • Previous ISO9001 experience is essential
  • Experienced working in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous Quality assurance/engineering experience and demonstrated use of Quality tools/methodologies.
  • Experienced in writing process documentation including Works Instructions, Quality Control Plans and relevant quality documentation
  • Experience in composite manufacturing an advantage
