Practice  Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician- Newry
Reed Accountancy is delighted to be working with a highly successful and prestigious Accountancy Practice based in Newry.
Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician to join their supportive and dynamic team.
This is a permanent position, and our client is happy to consider applicants seeking both full or part-time hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial accounts and other administrative tasks
- Working closely with accountants, managers or other finance technicians to complete daily accounting and finance activities
- Assist with administration of client payrolls via Sage Accounts
- Â Updating of records and procedures as required
- Â Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Â To constantly strive to add value to the practice
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience working at a Bookkeeping/ Accounting Technician level
- Previous experience working within practice is ideal
- Â Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisation skills and be able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage).
