Role Overview

As an Events Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and delivering outstanding events. Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Craft and execute innovative sales strategies to acquire new clients, retain existing ones, and maximise revenue growth. Continuously analyse market trends to identify opportunities and outpace competitors.

• Achieve and Exceed KPIs: Consistently meet and surpass sales targets, including revenue goals, lead conversion rates, and client satisfaction metrics. Regularly monitor performance and implement action plans to optimise results.

• Event Planning with Sales Focus: Plan, coordinate, and deliver exceptional events, embedding sales objectives at the core. Leverage events as opportunities to upsell services, generate leads, and enhance brand loyalty.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture meaningful relationships with clients, using insights to provide customised solutions that drive satisfaction, repeat business, and cross-selling opportunities. Focus on long-term partnerships to secure consistent revenue streams.

• Event Logistics: Manage all aspects of event logistics—including scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and execution—while emphasising cost-efficiency and revenue generation.

• Team Leadership for Sales Excellence: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with sales objectives. Foster collaboration and innovation to exceed targets at every stage of event planning and execution.

• Operational and Compliance Excellence: Maintain impeccable administrative records and ensure full compliance with industry regulations. Implement systems to streamline processes, optimise resources, and enhance profitability.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales-focused roles within event management or a related field.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
