Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a growing team at a metal fabrication facility in Newton Abbot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturer offering full training, excellent facilities, and potential for long-term employment.
Shift Patterns & Pay:
- Day Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 6am - 4pm.
- 12.21 per hour.
- Overtime paid at 18.31 per hour.
- Night Shift:
- Monday to Wednesday: 6pm - 6am.
- 13.21 per hour.
- Overtime paid at 18.66 per hour.
- Both roles are temporary to permanent, with immediate starts available.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines to produce metal components to specification.
- Basic welding and fabrication of metal parts.
- Quality checking of finished products.
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production is desirable.
- Familiarity with CNC machines or welding techniques is beneficial.
- Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Manual handling experience advantageous.
