Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a CNC machinist specialising in marine propulsion on behalf of their client. The Role:You'll be working hands-on in the workshop, programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes and milling machines. Familiarity with Fanuc and XYZ controls is essential. Your role will also involve the use of a range of manual machinery for operations such as taper turning, screw cutting, and precision drilling. Key responsibilities:* Interpreting technical drawings to manufacture parts to exacting specifications. * Operating both CNC and manual turning and milling machines. * Using measurement tools such as micrometers, verniers, and height gauges to ensure quality and accuracy. * Keeping a safe, clean, and efficient workspace Essential Skills & Experience:* Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or higher preferred) * Strong background in CNC machining (turning and milling) * Competency in using Fanuc and XYZ machine controls * Confident in setting tooling and working independently to tight tolerances * Manual machining experience (lathe/mill operations) If you have the required experience and excited about this opportunity, please apply today!
